The Delray Beach House - Delray Beach, FL

The Delray Beach House team, -Ann and Cate - reached out to Jean Christophe Hryb in the middle of their home staging after realizing that scale, colors and harmony are all together both crucial and interactive!

We tried to use what they had already acquired while starting over with their vision and Jean-Christophe Hryb's practical sense of design. The budget was tight for the 4 2 bedroom suites with kitchen and bathroom, but the result turned out very well and the business is running 100%: Jean-Christophe's style is so different from the traditional beach themes usually found in Florida rental properties!

Vintage-infused luxurious interiors are fun and colorful - without the mundane beach decorations. Their playful character makes them light and inviting. We designed and built bespoke pieces such as coffee tables using reclaimed local beach woods as well as industrial accents to give interiors their special presence and soul.

Note: the side tables of the Acapulco outdoor chairs are made of real pillars supporting the Floridian coast!

Zimmermann  - Los Angeles, CA

Nicky Zimmermann contacted us when she had just signed the store rental agreement.

She wanted to open in 4 weeks and we managed to satisfy her.

Design and construction were shipped - along with the furniture which was manufactured by Style de Vie in just 2 weeks!

Wildcraft  - Culver City, CA

The Wildcraft  team wanted a topical look with fashionable materials but more modern and "fun", Jean Christophe Hryb and his team provided it.

A mix of "raw" wood and metal was used as a base and unusual color accents and lighting to brighten it up.

The Doughroom  - Los Angeles, CA

Kaveh wanted a modern and "raw" mix. Illustrating as the trend of the moment in CA:  the restaurant has adorned padded banquettes made by Style de Vie, as well as raw wood and "old" finished metal for the tables, the bar, the seats, etc...

A trendy space that has been very popular since its conception. The locals love the semi-rustic side mixed with the modern.

Again a simple and modern space but translated with Soul.

The Deco Building - Los Angeles, CA

Brian offered an innovative concept for time: an office space to rent by the hour, the week, the month or the year...

The concept already existed, but not on this scale / with such a unique look: the building from the 20s was an old bank! The conference room takes place in the old safe!

Note: Lifestyle has used a 747 turbine as a reception desk!

The Church Key  - Hollywood, CA

A project that took 2 years from concept to execution. Lifestyle designed   and fabricated all custom furniture and sourced vintage furniture.

A beautiful mix of custom design elements - as much as possible create vintage elements to add extra soul to the space - mixed with antiques and modern wall decor and lighting ( also mainly customized by Lifestyle).

Modern meets deco and industrial in a seemingly raw open space...an eclectic and efficient mix that makes The Church Key a design benchmark in the Los Angeles restaurant industry to this day.

Hip'tique  - Santa Monica, CA

The concept furniture, art, etc. were provided by Style de Vie.

A Style de Vie customer for over 10 years - supplying vintage art to Hip'tique. When Sylvia decided to move to Santa Monica she called on Style de Vie Design to  establish her flagship store...which led to another store in Malibu within 3 years due to the success of Hip'tic Santa Monica!

The Alchemist Coffee Project  - Los Angeles, CA

The Owners had taken over a very innocuous space without any personality.

Jean-Christophe Hryb reinvented everything. He rearranged the space,   designed the furniture, the Atelier de Style de Vie made all the custom pieces, art, etc.

Jean-Christophe hired and led the construction and renovation teams. Everything has been redone apart from the ceiling and the floor - already in an Industrial look and in order to save where possible.

The result is a mix of unique custom parts and vintage elements - and sometimes a combination of both! made from recycled plumbing pipes and scaffolding planks.

A space full of interest and soul, where customers like to spend time. Industrial but warm space with the use of wood, and with touches of luxury with white marble tables and counters.

The Project was such a success that 3 years later the second Café was already opening.

Sara Sara Cupcakes  - Oaklahoma City, OK

The first interior design concept by Jean-Christophe Hryb.

The owner of the Café - then in the design stage - was so impressed by Jean-Christophe's talents in product and concept design for her own stores that she implored him to develop the concept of SaraSara Cupcakes. Having never designated spaces outside of its own stores and showrooms  JC was initially reluctant for fear of not being able to design and execute in a way worthy of the noble project. Soon convinced by the enthusiasm and confidence of the team behind SaraSara Cupcakes, he launched himself and conceptualized the branding and aesthetics of the brand, from the ground to the teaspoon, including art, furniture, the "jewelry boxes" of the Cupcakes and the counter, all in Plexiglas.

The period house was chosen to offset the pure white and modern concept, but also to add a touch of dream and happiness in the Downtown in the revival phase. The white house, the white interior, the top-of-the-range synthetic turf, the refined accessories all contributed to the feeling chosen by Jean-Christophe to contrast with the gray and brown colors typical of the region in autumn and winter. ....it's Spring and Summer all year round at Sara Sara Cupcakes!

Ostrich Farm - Los Angeles/Echo Park, CA

A challenging project because the space was very small and we had to redo everything from the plumbing to the floor, from the ceiling to the kitchen, etc, etc...

The restaurant is one of the pioneers offering quality cuisine and service in the hipster district of Echo Park...a double challenge...

Working hand in hand with Brooke, the co -owner married to Jamie, the restaurant's Chef, Jean-Christophe Hryb has developed a modern, high-quality concept, while keeping the atmosphere warm for an intimate neighborhood atmosphere.

All the furniture has been designed and manufactured by Style de Vie with the exception of the light fixture and the chairs.

The restaurant has been very well received and the couple and Jean-Christophe are in the process of selecting a second location.

LA Farm  - Los Angeles, CA

Jean-Christophe and Chef Stefan Richter co -designed and Style de Vie made all the bespoke furniture. From the hammered copper tables to the common epoxy table, to the walnut and antiqued copper bar, to the reception station made from a recycled industrial workbench, etc, etc,,,

King's Row - Pasadena, CA

Jean-Christophe transformed his friends' restaurant which needed a Makeover  and performed very poorly into a Gastropub, now a considerable financial success  .

School chairs, reclaimed wood and steel furniture, wall panels f(manufactures from old  English bus destination rolls),  les exposed brick walls...are some of the elements that have created a unique, industrial but warm decor

Note: The look and concept inspired their next project, DogHaus, now a National franchise with 150 franchises sold.

DogHaus  - National Franchise, USA

Partners delighted with the results with King's Row (above) asked Jean-Christophe Hryb to design their franchise.

The part of the project that was extraordinarily challenging: Doghaus was already operational and selling franchises from the King's Row concept. It was therefore necessary to design extremely quickly while applying the design and sourcing the materials during the construction of the first franchise... currently there were 3 franchises under construction awaiting the final design...

Style de Vie was able to adapt to the situation, juggling architect, administration, construction, suppliers, customers, deadlines, surprises, etc....

Nevertheless the game was worth the candle because today DogHaus has sold 150 franchises (5 years since conception) at the national level with 50 more in talks.

Le résultat  est architectural,   moderne industriel - avec des spot  de couleur pour   égayer _cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_the mix of recycled wood, exposed steel  and  tempered.

Fred Segal - Santa Monica, CA

Jean-Christophe had the honor of designing a store for the iconic Fred Segal for his new location in Santa Monica.

Gift shop, JC opted for a white canvas - his favorite neutral background palette for retail - to make the "pos" product stand out as much as possible. Backlighting was added to energize the space, add 3D space and keep the customer's eye interested rather than getting lost in a mass of heterogeneous  products.- This also gives the illusion of a more open and spacious store.

The space was redone from top to bottom, Style de Vie and its subcontractors redid the entire vanilla shell and Jean-Christophe selected all the materials from the floor coverings to the walls, designed and produced all the fixings, and has everything installed.

Christian Audigier - Ed Hardy/The Same Guy - Hollywood, CA

Jean-Christophe had the honor of designing and supplying a complete store for the iconic Christian Audigier known worldwide for his line of clothing after the famous Ed Hardy's tattoos. Christian - a Style de Vie client for years for the vintage elements of his stores - wanted to collaborate with Jean-Christophe to conceptualize and image his new store concept "The Same Guy" . What was said was done and soon will open its new pilot store on Melrose in Hollywood.

A very "Lifestyle" mix, vintage elements are added to touches of modern and fashion forward elements for an Edge look but with soul. Style de Vie also designed and manufactured all the bindings in recycled wood and raw metal. The steel beam front was also produced by our Atelier

CBRE/Tremell Crow Com - Manhattan Beach, CA

The "construction" division of the famous Compagnie Nationale  of Immobilier commercial CBRE turned to Style de Vie due to the reputation of its expertise in the recycling of materials. Jean-Christophe Hryb's design during this period also incidentally turned to building materials with simple and sober finishes to bring out the architectural dimension of his creations.

We have designed and manufactured   all the furniture - 100% custom-made - using construction/recycling materials.

Air 7 - Camarillo, CA

Owner of the private jet hangar at Camarillo Airport - just outside Los Angeles to avoid the crowds - Peter wanted a warm, industrial and "aviator" decor. A mix of high-end commercial furniture and bespoke furniture not Style de Vie,  with Vintage touches (at the entrance we have created a bar with a 747 tire) completed this wanted look!

Note: the jersey number   of his American football player son being 7, Peter Korall - best known as the owner of the famous brand of jeans "7 for all Mankind", always names his companies with number 7

Blue Plate Oysterette - Hollywood, CA

Jennifer Rush, owner of Blue Plate Oysterette and Blue Taco by the sea in Santa Monica wanted to offer her concept to her faithful without having to deal with the omnipresent traffic jams now in the Metropolis.

The initial concept was duplicated but the design a little urbanized.

The freshness of a seaside restaurant in the middle of Hollywood!

Note: The table tops were made by Style de Vie using vintage coastal maps from the Jean-Christophe Collection

Aflac - Westwood, CA

The insurance giant wanted modern and unique offices. They turned to Style de Vie for its reputation for ingenious bespoke furniture and its expertise in modern minimalism. Everything was designed by Jean-Christophe Hryb and manufactured by our workshop. Understated with a playful twist to demonstrate on the premises that Aflac is not the typical insurance company and the look illustrates their modern approach to a traditional industry.

72 and Sunny, Los Angeles, CA

The advertising company founded by John Boiler, and his wife of impeccable taste, collaborated with Jean-Christophe Hryb to create a unique, high-end design, but also unexpected in their industry. A more chic look while remaining playful with the selection of extraordinary furniture designs. Style de Vie sourced all the vintage elements for the two buildings (3000 m2), as well as fabricated all the custom elements. A lot of furniture was created from the creations of great designers from the years  50s and 60s, and built by Style de Vie - instead of sourcing armchairs or tables at $5,000 or $20,000 each...

The result is a "vintage modern" look with lots of soul and pieces that catch the eye wherever you turn your head!
